Temperatures were mostly in the 40s and low 50s at lower elevations. However. Red Bluff reported a warm 60 degrees along with gusty northerly winds. Gusty northerly winds were occuring along the north coast.

Breezy conditions were expected to develop southward to the San Francisco Bay area and into the northern San Joaquin Valley. High temperatures today will be similar to those of Tuesday with readings in the 50s along the north coast, the 70s in the inland areas of northern and central California and the 70s and 80s southern California. The coastal sections of southern California will be slightly cooler today in a deepening layer of marine air. Regional forecasts MONTEREY BAY AREA Small craft advisory for the outer bay waters. Wind northwest increasing to 15 to 25 knots over the outer bay and 10 to 20 knots inner bay continuing through Thursday.

Waves 2 to 4 feet. Swell northwest 5 to 10 feet with highest swell outer and south bay. Sunny today. Highs in the mid 60s to low 70s. Fair tonight and Thursday.

NAPA VALLEY RAINFALL Extended forecasts The California extended forecast, Friday through Sunday: NORTHERN CALIFORNIA-Increasing clouds in the extreme north Friday, spreading southeast over the Sierra Saturday. Otherwise fair through Sunday except areas of low clouds and fog developing along the coast. At lower elevations highs from the 50s along the coast to the 70s inland. Lows in the upper 30s and 40s.

CENTRAL CALIFORNIA Patchy coastal fog or low clouds nights and mornings. Otherwise fair with above normal temperatures. At lower elevations highs in the 60s and 70s and lows from the upper 30s to the low 50s. Obituaries visitation at the funeral chapel on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. College.

She is survived by seven cousins, Ellen Kurka and Kathryn Kurka, both of Los Angeles, Mary Ellen Kurka and Helen Miller, both of South Pasadena, Patricia Bawler of San Francisco, Joann Wickman of Walnut Creek and Molly Stucker of Pasadena. The rosary will be recited on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the chapel of Richard Pierce Funeral Service, 1660 Silverado Trail. A funeral mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St.

John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment will be at St. John's Cemetery in Boise, Idaho. The family suggests memorial Sarah M. Lynch Sarah M.

Lynch, 85, died Monday at a local convalescent hospital following a lengthy illness. Miss Lynch was bom in Victor, Colo. May 18, 1899, and was raised in Goldfield, Nev. and Boise, Idaho. She went to the University of Idaho at Moscow, then taught one year there.

She then came to California and graduated from the University of California at Berkeley. She taught at Idaho Falls for several years, then came to Napa and taught mathematics for a number of years. During the last 15 years of her career, she was a counselor. She was active in establishing Napa contributions be made to the Napa Valley College Foundation, 2277 Napa-Vallejo Highway, Napa, 94558. Ethel Anna Heath Ethel Anna Heath, 84, died Monday at Queen of the Valley Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born in Chicago, 111. July 13, 1900, to Mr. and Mrs. Louis N. Lindskog.

She received her early education in Zion, 111. and later graduated from Northern Illinois University and San Francisco State College. She married Ernest R. Heath of Napa in 1942. He predeceased her.

She taught elementary school for 35 years in Zion, Baring- direction of Claffey and Rota Funeral Home. Nathan Bonderow LAKE WORTH, Fla. Nathan Bonderow, 77, died Thursday in a Lake Worth, Fla. hospital after a long illness. He was a native of New York and had lived in Vallejo and Napa for 38 years before moving to Florida in 1974.

He was a co-owner of Rosees Fine Womens Apparel and Specialty Shop. He was a member of the Vallejo Transit Lines Board, the Downtown Association, BNai Israel Synagogue in Vallejo and Beth Sholem Synagogue in Napa. Mr. Bonderow is survived by his wife, Estelle of Lake Worth, his son, Albert of Klamath Falls, two sisters, Sophia Bonderow and Leah A. Schmall, both of Vallejo; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held in Lake Worth. Manuel Peacock YOUNTVILLE Manuel Peacock, 86, died Saturday at Holder-man Hospital of the Veterans Home in Yountville. Mr. Peacock was born in Niles May 17, 1898. During World War he served in the U.S.

Army. He was a fruit dealer in Oakland for many years. He had been a resident of the Veterans Home for 10 years. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He is survived by two nieces, Mamie Leate and June Cabral, both of Newman, and one nephew, Frank Avila of Newman.

A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:15 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Oakland. The Rev. Father Cabral will officiate. Arrangements are under the Stocks Phillips Petroleum off a fraction at midday.

Her last teaching assignment was in American Canyon. She retired in the mid-1960s. She was president of the teachers association and served on the board for several years. In Waukegan, she was active with the YWCA, serving on the board as well as being the president of the Tri Club, and was an active member of the First Congregational Church, working as a clerk, Sunday school teacher and choir member. She was a member of the National Retired Teachers Association and the National and Association of Retired People.

She was the first cook at Westminster Woods Presbyterian Retreat in California. She enjoyed piano playing and choral singing. She was an active member in the First Presbyterian Church of Napa, participating in the Mariners Club, the adult fellowship groups and the United Presbyterian Women as well as singing in the Sunday school choir. Mrs. Heath is survived by her long-time friends, Robert and Adell Howell of Napa; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are invited to attend funeral services Thursday at 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Napa. The Rev. Frank White will officiate. Following the services, friends are invited to a gathering in the Fireside Room at the church.

Friends may call at Treadway and Wigger Funeral Chapel tonight until 9 p.m. Interment will take place in Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion, 111. Charlotte Werner DEER PARK Charlotte M. Werner, 75, died Monday at St.

Helena Hospital and Health Center from cancer. She was a native of Germany and, after helping her stepmother raise her halfbrothers and sisters, came to the United States and settled in the Bay Area. She later moved to St. Helena and bought property where she grew fruit trees, vegetables, grape vines and roses. She enjoyed traveling and horses.

She has no known survivors. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Chapel in St. Helena. Interment will be private.

Declines led advances 763-725 among the 1,957 issues crossing the NYSE tape. The five-hour Big Board volume amounted to about 89,601,000 shares, compared with 95,170,000 in the same period Tuesday.
