to 6 P. M. Fiberglass CURTAINS Job's Daughters Attend Services Some 40 members of Jobs Daughters attended Sunday morning services of the Napa Methodist Church in a group. Sermon topic of Dr. Warren A.

Bonner was on Job, 13, 15, Though he slay me, yet will I trust Him. In his address, he said: While Job considered the problem of human suffering and came to a tremendous expression of faith in God, we need to go on to the teach ings of Jesus to get the final answer of why men suffer. Suffering is the lot of all sooner or later and if we do not have a Christian philosophy of evil, we may become bitter and resentful. While other religions sidestep the problem of evil, Christianity faces it and uses it for higher ends. It would be a peculiar world if the righteous were protected from the operation of universal laws such as the law of gravity and experienc ed no pain.

Rather if we remove all, preventable suffering then we may accept what life brings, develop in character and make of our pain something useful and even redemptive. The group was led by Eleanor Knudsen, honored queen. Mrs. Ralph Ruggles is Jobs Daughters guardian and J. C.ICnudsen associate guardian.

King, Queen In 5. F. Tomorrow CHICAGO (U.R) King Paul and Queen Fredenka of Greece were en-route to San Francisco today after a royad three-day visit in Chicago where happy crowds cheered their every appearance.

An overflow crowd of 8500 attended their last Chicago appearance yesterday at the Civic Opera House. Adlai E. Stevenson told them then, that their gallant people deserve most of the ciedit for Greeces progress since World War II. Stevenson, defeated candidate in the 1952 presidential elections, said this country was prone to take unto itself credit for the post-war achievements of Greece. He said that as an American I am proud that President Truman had the vision and courage to come to the rescue of Greece and Turkey at a dark and decisive moment.

But it was the historic fortitude and rugged determination of a gallant people that decided the result, he said. King Paul, addressing the audience for the most part in Greek, said he and the queen were deeply moved by your warm-hearted and heart-warming welcome. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Before the public reception, the couple entertained the George Smith family of Oswego, 111., their hotel suite. King Paul had visited the Smith farm Saturday.

Yes, cities in every part of the United States have learned that the ONLY permanent solution is to park automobiles OFF the street. Unbiased traffic, safety and municipal experts have agreed unanimously that the parking problem can never be solved at the curb. A YES vote for this charter amendment will result in less congestion, better safety, greater convenience to the motorist, more trade, more jobs and a healthier, progressive economy for the entire city AT NO COST TO THE TAXPAYER. Two professionally made surveys have disclosed the fact that is obvious to most Napans: There isnt enough parking in the business districts. The lack of parking drives customers from our city with those customers goes business.

If sufficient parking were available these customers and their business would be recaptured and with them more jobs in the retail field, and additional sales tax collected from these customers would ease the tax burden on present Napa taxpayers. After three years of study, the City Council has placed before the voters of Napa in the November 10 election, a charter amendment which will permit the city to acquire and operate adequate parking lots to correct these conditions AT NO COST TO THE TAXPAYER.
